Born unto righteousness
And he came to me and greeted me with His voice, and said unto me: ‘This is the Son of Man who is born unto righteousness, and righteousness abides over him, and the righteousness of the Head of Days forsakes him not.’

A way through the words
Long before church arguments about titles, Jewish poets pictured a human life so aligned with God’s justice that righteousness “abides over him.” Christians later heard Jesus in that poetry. The invitation is not to win a debate. It is to let righteousness — right relationship — abide over us too.
Historical context
The Parables of Enoch sit near the time of Jesus. “Son of Man” was a living Jewish hope, not a Christian invention. Hearing Enoch helps us love Jesus without erasing his people.
